THE COMPONENTS

The Heat Shrink Tubing: • Adhesive-lined polyolefin to seal the connection. • Color-coded with wire gauge imprint for easy size identification. • Translucent tubing to allow for visual inspection.

The Crimp Connector: • Zippered brazed seam for superior crimp performance. • Window for visual inspection. • Wire stop to prevent over-insertion. • Serrated inner barrel for extra crimp strength.

The Solder: • Flux coating to clean metal surfaces.

• Pre-measured solder to deliver the right amount. • Low-temp solder alloy for ease of installation.

THE ULTIMATE CONNECTION

Since 1994, General Motors has mandated all electrical connection repairs be crimped, soldered and properly sealed against moisture and corrosion. In 1997, Freightliner Trucks issued a similar requirement. Only MultiLink satisfies this OE requirement in a convenient one-piece repair splice.
