The nut portion expands the sleeve exerting a 360° swage fit against the parent material.

Clinch-Nuts are a one-piece design consisting of a nut portion and a sleeve portion.

A rotating tool mandrel exerts a pull and “breaks” the nut portion from the sleeve drawing it into the sleeve.
