AUTOMOTIVE MIRROR NUT

REPLACEMENT STAINLESS STEEL SCREW

Instructions: 1. Drill (7/16”) hole. 2. Insert nut, flange side out. 3. Insert screw and tighten to collapse legs of nut. 4. Remove bolt, mount fixture and retighten. Thread size of nut 1/4”- 20. Hole size required 7/16”.

Clinch-Nuts are a one piece design consisting of a nut portion and a sleeve portion.

A rotating tool mandrel exerts a pull and “breaks” the nut portion from the sleeve drawing it into the sleeve.

The nut portion expands the sleeve exerting a 360° swage fit against the parent material.
