BULBEX™ RIVETS
For the soft-thin-brittle materials The Bulbex ™ breakstem fastener is designed with a split tail formation, providing a much larger blind side bearing area against the rear sheet. This also allows for a wide variation in material thickness. The Bulbex ™ blind breakstem fastener is ideal for use with plastic and low strength material. • Multi-grip capability - reduces inventory. • Split tail formation provides a very large blind side bearing area against the rear sheet. • Positively locked stem. • Accommodates wide variations in material thickness. • Spreads the tail bearing load/clamp load on the rear sheet. • No damage, electrical problems or rattling due to loose stems. • Head accepts color snap-on caps.

DOOR RIVETS (Semi-Tubular)
Semitubular rivets can be set either tight or loose, depending upon application. Each features a hole in the end of the rivet that draws together the materials being joined. Use to fasten soft or hard materials. They join materials without swelling to help prevent damage. Semi-tubular rivets (also known as tubular rivets) are essentially the same as solid rivets, but with a shallow hole at the tip, opposite the head. This hole causes the tubular portion of the rivet (around the hole) to roll outward when force is applied. This reduces the amount of force needed for installation - tubular rivets require roughly 1/4 the force of solid rivets. Semi-tubular rivets are often the preferred rivet style for joints where movement is required (pivot points), because the rivet material only swells at the tail. Common applications for tubular rivets include light fixtures, HVAC ducts, electronics, ladders, and brakes, among many others.
