The CAM-LOCK System uses two washers, each with inclined cams on one side, and gripping ridges on the other. When installed, the cammed sides are mated, leaving the ridged sides to grip the cap screw and joint material. Only exerting torque in excess of 50% more than that required for tightening will loosen the CAM-LOCK system. Meets military specs. MCN 5310-H06-4254 through 4266.
