R-1234yf A/C SERVICE ITEMS

SAE has set the standards for equipment used to service R-1234yf systems. R-134a service equipment and system components are not interchangeable with R-1234yf systems unless they meet the relevant SAE standards. These systems have a different service port design compared to those designed for R-134a to prevent cross-contamination.

R-1234yf A/C LEAK DETECTION

Due to the cost of R-1234yf refrigerant, we recommend checking for leaks with a Hydrogen/Nitrogen Gas Electronic Leak Detection System. This method of leak detection is economical and efficient.

NITROGEN PRESSURE TESTER for R-134a and R-1234yf

NITROGEN/HYDROGEN GAS ELECTRONIC LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM

Designed to meet the specifications of automotive A/C systems. This single-stage nitrogen regulator is used to test systems for leaks when they do not contain refrigerant.

l Deluxe H2/N2 Leak Detector, certified compliant with SAE J2790. l Works with both R-134a and R-1234yf. l Uses 95% Nitrogen /5% Hydrogen mixture to find leaks electronically. l 96” Red Service Hose. l H2/N2 Regulator with 2” delivery and contents gauges. l R-134a and R-1234yf manual couplers with 1/4” MF. l Protective plastic carrying case.
