PAT R I O T WELD IN G RODS
TOMAHAWK (Aluminum) Unique self lifting slag. Long shelf life. Excellent for joining dissimilar grades of aluminum.
RESCUE (Stainless Steel)
Excellent all position capabilities. Extra low carbon content to resist pitting.
APPLICATIONS: For molybdenum bearing stainless steels with 1.5 to 3.0% Mo. Primarily used for resistance to pitting, many acids and general corrosion. Suitable for titanium and niobium stabilized versions of 316L stainless.
APPLICATIONS: For arc welding aluminums alloyed with copper, silicon, and magnesium.
WELDING TECHNIQUES: Start by using the upper portion of the amperage range. Feed the electrode quickly and move fast maintaining a very close arc gap.
WELDING TECHNIQUES: Material to be welded should be clean of all contaminants. Maintain a short arc and use stringer beads rather than a weave technique.
WELDING POSITIONS: Flat, Vertical up, Horizontal, Overhead

SNAKEYE (Cast Iron) Electrode for joining dirty - contaminated cast irons
PHOENIX (Tool Steel) Chromium carbide electrode for economical smooth overlays. Ripple free surface doubles “grip resistance”. Special formula totally eliminates porosity.
and cast irons to steel. No hazardous fumes. Crack resistant machinable welds.
APPLICATIONS: Universal electrodes for joining a wide variety of ductile, nodular and malleable cast irons. Ideally suited for the repair of meehanite dies. Extremely strong arc drive penetrates surface contaminants. Special slag compo sition can be welded over without creating porosity. WELDING TECHNIQUES: Remove any surface contamina tion with the proper solvents. Adjust the welding machine to the lowest proper setting that yields good welding condi tions. APPLICATIONS: For protecting most iron base surfaces against severe abrasive wear and moderate impact.
WELDING TECHNIQUES: Use a stringer or wide weave technique. Deposit a maximum of 2 to 3 passes to achieve full hardness.
